On this the day of balance point ... Autumn Equinox here and Vernal Equinox for those of you in the Southern hemisphere ..may we be blessed with balance , may balance enter minds and hearts ...may we learn to weigh things up to find the balance point...may we have enough sustenance gathered in to see us through the winter ...may we germinate in the growing time of Dark ,that which we need to bring forth in Spring . May we know the blessings of the Cailleach. Love and Beannachtaí Cónocht an Fhomhair ( Equinox blessings ) to you all.

Rosslare Harbour Sunrise

So blessed to be at Lough Crew for Sunrise on 20th September. A little early for Equinox, but, despite the Cairn being closed, the light of the rising sun was clearly visible, playing on the engravings of the Back Stone.

Hi all,

hoping, wherever you are, that you got to experience the energy of the Equinox Sunrise. At this point of balance and harvest, we look ahead to the Dark of the Year, the gathering-in time, preparation for Winter and the Spring to come. In the spirit of preparation, the hunt for a suitable venue for Priestess Training continues. Hoping for inspiration in the next week or so.

Clearly, we will not be having an Equinox start, but I am still hopeful that both Priestess Training and online classes, hopefully including a Wheel of the Year Workshop, can begin at Samhain. Keep an eye on this blog, and the Facebook page, for updates.
